Grandson of legendary Sivaji Ganesan and son of veteran actor Prabhu, Vikram Prabhu's debut vehicle Kumki directed by Prabhu Solomon competes a 100 days tomorrow in a few centers across the state. Kumki starring Vikram Prabhu,Lakshmi Menon and Manikkam, the elephant released on December 14, 2012 and went on to be declared a hit.

Produced by Lingusamy under Thirrupathi Brothers banner, Kumki was distributed by K E Gnanavel Raja's Studio Green in more than 300 screens. The story revolves around a mahout (portrayed by Vikram) and his trained elephant with the music composed by D Imman. With the success of Kumku, Vikram Prabhu is looking ahead for his next flicks Sigaram Thodu and Ivan Veramathiri.
